And I was.

But every swing away from my family became harder. The money was good, but the time I was giving up to earn it was something I could never get back. I didn’t want to spend the best years of my life working away, waiting for my next break, hoping that one day I’d finally have enough.

More time with my family. More control over my future. And the freedom to decide how I spent my time, not have my roster decide for me. That’s when I stopped thinking about property as simply buying houses and started thinking about it as a strategy for creating an exit plan.

But knowing you need to do something and knowing what to do next are two very different things.
